Before Baby Connection

Monthly, two-hour group sessions offering education on six rotating topics
Learn about your changing body and overall health alongside other pregnant mothers for a collaborative group experience. Plus, enjoy a free 16-week YMCA membership and childcare. Register today.

Boot Camp for New Dads

Held the second Saturday of each month from 8 to 11 a.m. in La Crosse
This hands-on workshop is designed to help first-time dads feel more prepared and confident with their newborn. You'll learn from a trained coach and veteran dads with their babies.

New Mom Meet Up

Monthly gathering for moms with infants to preschool-age children to connect.
Join other new moms for connection, conversation and resource sharing every month. You don't have to be a patient of Gundersen to attend. One-time registration required.

Cancer Center Support Group

Meets 3rd Tuesday of the month (February - December)
This monthly support group gives adult cancer patients and their caregivers a safe, confidential place to share feelings and experiences with others whose lives are affected by cancer.

Brain Injury Support Group

Meetings in February, April, June, August, September, October and December
Gundersen Brain Injury Support Group is open to anyone affected by a brain injury, including caregivers, family and friends. Opportunities to share concerns, socialize, access resources and more.

Spinal Cord Injury Support Group

Gundersen Spinal Cord Injury Support Group is for people of all ages and abilities whose lives have been impacted by a spinal cord injury, including family members, caregivers and friends.

Aphasia Support Group

Held the last Saturday of each month on the Gundersen La Crosse Campus
The Aphasia Support Group provides a supportive space to learn ways to improve communication skills alongside others who may have challenges with speaking, understanding speech, reading and writing.

Grief Education and Support Group

Five sessions held in the spring and fall
The five-week Grief Education and Support Group will teach you about the grief process and provide an opportunity to talk with others who are grieving. There's no charge to attend.

Gundersen Palmer Lutheran Grief Support Group

Free eight-week support group offered in the spring and fall in West Union, Iowa
Free 8-week grief support group held at Gundersen Palmer Lutheran Hospital. Brings individuals together to share thoughts, experiences and feelings regarding their loss. Offered in spring and fall.

Moving Through Grief Together: Drop-in Support Group

Held the first and third Fridays of every month
This twice-monthly, drop-in support group will help those who have experienced the death of a family member or friend. It's open to the community at no charge.
