About the Spinal Cord Injury Support Group

Gundersen Spinal Cord Injury Support Group is for people of all ages and abilities whose lives have been impacted by a spinal cord injury, including family members, caregivers and friends.

The group offers:

• A space to share mutual concerns related to spinal cord injury
• Educational topics
• Resources and community activities
• Socialization and peer mentoring with others affected by spinal cord injuries
• Family support
• Accessibility solutions
• Group outings and other special events

We welcome ideas and suggestions for meetings to help meet your needs.

Peer mentoring

Adjusting to life after a spinal cord injury can be challenging. In addition to the support group, peer mentoring is available to team you up with someone who has gone through a similar experience.
