Event Description
Introduced by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Committee on Trauma (COT) in 1980, the Advanced Trauma Life Support® (ATLS®) program will teach you a systematic, concise approach to the care of a trauma patient.
If you don't treat trauma patients often, an ATLS course provides an easy method to remember for evaluation and treatment of a trauma victim.
One and a half day hybrid course dates:
- March 18-19, 2026
- July 8-9, 2026
- Nov. 10-11, 2026
What you'll learn from the course:
- A safe and reliable method for immediate management of injured patients
- How to assess a patient's condition; resuscitate and stabilize them; and determine if their needs exceed a facility's capacity
- How to arrange for a patient's inter-hospital transfer and ensure that optimum care is provided throughout the process
This course is designed for medical providers with the following credentials:
- Medical doctor (MD)
- Doctor of osteopathy (DO)
- Medical resident
- Nurse practitioner (NP)
- Physician assistant (PA)
- Certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA)
