From all of us at Gundersen, congratulations! Preparing for your baby’s arrival is often a joyful journey, so let’s get started right away. It’s important to visit us so we can begin your prenatal care. Our expert care teams and online resources, like childbirth classes, will help you feel ready for delivery and parenthood.

Your birth plan outlines your vision—from how you’d like to deliver to the best way to ease pain. Options may include water birth, different laboring techniques or positions, and so much more. You’ll share your plan with your care team between 30 and 33 weeks into your pregnancy. Remember, the best plans can change. We’ll guide you through every step of the way to keep you and your baby healthy.
Our classes help prepare you and your partner for birth and beyond, including labor management, breastfeeding and newborn care. These informal and educational childbirth classes are a good time to have your questions answered by our knowledgeable providers, including obstetricians, midwives and family medicine providers who specialize in delivering babies.

Our Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic is available for patients who need extra monitoring and/or treatment during pregnancy. We offer the region’s only specialist to care for expectant mothers with high-risk pregnancies.
