Event Description
If you’re expecting a baby and experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction, homelessness or struggling with housing, food or other basic needs, we have a program to surround you with resources and support. Supportive Pregnancy Group Care is a care model that goes beyond individual prenatal appointments. Our program is inspired by decades of research that shows more time with healthcare providers and connecting with other expecting patients during pregnancy and after delivery can lead to better outcomes for parents and babies.
Supportive Pregnancy Group Care Includes:
- Monthly individual prenatal appointments with providers and nurses
- Provider-led discussions about nutrition, stress management, birth planning and other important topics
- Increased time with and access to your pregnancy care team through group education
- Group and individual appointments with our certified perinatal mental health therapist
- Movement classes designed specifically for prenatal wellness
- Free trial membership at the YMCA
- Free access to social supports (housing, food, transportation, employment, etc.) during pregnancy and beyond
