Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant (EMPA) Fellowship
Gundersen’s skilled staff provides 24/7 emergency care to our patients. Our Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant Fellowship is your opportunity to join them. You’ll learn from our board-certified emergency physicians and physician assistants who are passionate about teaching at our Level II Trauma Center, rural emergency departments and with our ground and air emergency crews. You’ll graduate a skilled and compassionate provider prepared to deliver emergency medicine in any setting.
Overview
We're here to advance your knowledge and skills through hands-on training in our emergency rooms and at our world-class education center. During your 18 months with us, you’ll work in our urban and rural emergency departments, cycling through Anesthesia, Obstetrics, MICU, SICU, PICU, Interventional Radiology and EMS rotations. We offer ATLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications.
We designed our program using guidelines set forth and published by the Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants and the American College of Emergency Physicians.
