Meet our current fellows

Kelly Colleton, PA-C

Kelly Colleton grew up in the mountainous town of South Lake Tahoe, Calif. She pursued an undergraduate degree in health sciences at Boise State University. After graduation she became a medical assistant at a family practice in Boise, Idaho, where she worked with a dedicated and compassionate provider. This was an example of the type of provider she wanted to be in her future community.

Kelly attended Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Mont., to pursue her master’s in physician assistant studies. She performed clinicals in multiple states including Montana, Wyoming and Colorado. In these communities she saw the benefits of being a well-rounded and strong member of an emergency medicine team. She believes Gundersen is the perfect place to pursue her passion and enhance her skills as a provider.

In her free time Kelly loves anything outdoors. She was put on a pair of skis at age 2 and continues to enjoy the outdoors through a variety of activities including skiing, rock climbing, biking, hiking and backpacking. Kelly also enjoys traveling and reading. She’s an avid animal lover and would be happy to look at any photos of your dogs or cats.

Cooper Jackson, PA-C

Cooper Jackson attended the University of North Dakota for his undergraduate degree while also running track and field. During this time, he worked as a certified nursing assistant and volunteered in the emergency department. It was there he discovered his love for emergency medicine. After his undergraduate studies, he attended physician assistant school at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Outside of medicine, Cooper loves to be outside in nature. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting and fishing. His favorite place in the world is his cabin in Ontario, Canada, where he can relax and detach.

Faith Schenk, PA, Emergency Medicine

Faith Schenk, PA-C

Faith Schenk was raised in Northeast Wisconsin and earned her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. During school breaks, she returned home to work as a CNA in both a memory care facility and an emergency department, as well as an EMT for a local Tribal ambulance service. These formative experiences deepened her passion for emergency medicine and introduced her to the impact of compassionate, patient-centered care.

Faith went on to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Physician Assistant Program, where she was based at the Wausau distant campus. She completed her clinical rotations throughout Northeast Wisconsin, allowing her to serve and learn from the communities that shaped her.

Outside of medicine, Faith’s greatest passions reside in the outdoors and in the kitchen. She can usually be found hiking, hammocking, hunting, fishing, or baking delicious treats.

Medical Education Emergency Medicine Fellow

Cyrus Wolff, PA-C

Cyrus grew up in Princeton, Minnesota and obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of St. Thomas. During his undergraduate years he worked as a music teacher for students of all ages and developed a love of education. After graduating he worked as an EMT and ED technician in the Twin Cities metro area. During this time, he worked alongside many inspirational emergency medicine providers and developed a passion for emergency medicine. He obtained his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Augsburg University in Minneapolis, during which time he participated in clinical rotations throughout central Minnesota and Wisconsin. He has a strong commitment to lifelong learning and professional development which led him to pursue the EMPA fellowship program at Gundersen.
