Gundersen St. Joseph's Memorial Foundation
Because of generous people like you, Gundersen St. Joseph’s Memorial Foundation provides funds to improve access to quality rural healthcare.
Who we are
St. Joseph's Memorial Foundation was established in 1984 for the sole purpose of supporting the programs and services of Gundersen St. Joseph's Hospital and Clinics. To this day, we continue to raise funds to support the purchase of new equipment at St. Joseph’s and to bring the best medicine and future healthcare providers to our rural communities.
Ways to give
Memorial garden
Honor the memory of a family member or friend through a donation to St. Joseph’s memorial garden program. Purchase a sculptural flower, engraved and crafted to be as unique as the person you knew and loved.
General fund
Donating to our general fund means your gift will be used to support the area of greatest need. You can request that your gift be used in a specific area, such as emergency or cancer care, by stating this in the gift memo section of the online form. Gifts may also be made in honor or memory of loved ones.
Scholarship fund
Join us in growing our future healthcare workforce by making a gift to the scholarship fund. We provide 6 scholarships each academic year to graduating students within our service area who are pursuing a career in healthcare.
From our director
Hello and thank you for your interest in supporting St. Joseph’s Memorial Foundation.
Our foundation supports Gundersen St. Joseph’s Hospital and Clinics in advancing access to quality care for our rural communities.
We’re passionate about bringing the very best medicine to our medically underserved area by supporting the great work done by the staff at St. Joe’s through the purchase of equipment and providing scholarships to grow our own healthcare workforce.
In recent years, St. Joseph’s Memorial Foundation has:
- Purchased equipment to bring in new services such as Chiropractic Care, Urology and Oncology
- Provided funds for new landscaping equipment
- Raised more than $2 million to build a new hospital which opened in 2020
Our work is possible thanks to the support of people like you.
If you share our passion for rural healthcare, and want to support the work we do, please consider a donation to our cause.
Take care,
Dan Howard
