Makes 4 servings

Ingredients

4 (3 oz.) boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 tsp. olive or avocado oil
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. black pepper
½ tsp. paprika
½ tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp. onion powder
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
2 Tbsp. ketchup

Preparation

Mix the salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small bowl. Place chicken breast in a zip-lock bag and pour the seasoning mixture over the chicken. Close the bag and toss to coat. In the same small bowl, mix the brown sugar, balsamic and ketchup. Pour half the mixture amount in the bag of seasoned chicken and marinate for 30 minutes. Remove chicken and cook on a well-heated grill. Cook for an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.

Use the other half of the reserved sauce to brush over the chicken about 5 minutes before it's done cooking on the grill.
Serve with your favorite side dish such as mac and cheese, salad, rice or whole-grain dinner roll.
