Makes 10 (3 Tbsp.) servings*

Ingredients

  • 2 (4 oz.) packages goat cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) package reduced fat cream cheese
  • 1 tsp minced fresh thyme
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup toasted walnuts, chopped

Preparation

In stand up mixer, combine goat cheese, cream cheese and thyme. Beat until soft and well combined. Scrape mixture into a flat serving dish with a 1 inch edge (a pie plate works well). Refrigerate until ready to serve, no longer than 4 hours. Just before serving, top with honey and sprinkle with walnuts. Serve with crackers or toast.

*This can be eaten as a meal instead of as an appetizer. Makes 6-8 serving for a meal.
