Radiologic Technologist

Full Time Opening – RTR (ARRT) with Iowa Permit to Practice. CT experience a plus or willing to train for CT and Registry.

Position includes a full rotation of weekend, weeknight and holiday call. Familiarity with EPIC RIS a plus. Full Diagnostic x-ray, fluoroscopy, C-arm, portable procedures and CT duties along with EKG's and other duties as assigned.

PRN Med/Staff Registered Nurse (RN)

Iowa licensed RN who is willing to work both AM and PM shifts, weekends and holidays to fill gaps in Med Surg scheduling as needed. Individual with experience in obstetrics is preferred, would consider candidate with willingness to cross-train into these areas. TNCC, ACLS, NRP, and PALS within one year of hire, if not already held. Current State of Iowa RN license is required.

Program Therapist (LISW) - Senior Life Solutions

Founded in 2003, Psychiatric Medical Care manages more than 80 Senior Life Solutions programs across the U.S. Senior Life Solutions is an intensive outpatient behavioral healthcare program designed to meet the needs of adults over the age of 65 who are struggling with symptoms of depression or anxiety often related to aging. Patients are offered services by an interdisciplinary team of caring, experienced, behavioral health professionals, which includes a psychiatrist, licensed therapist, and registered nurse.

JOB OVERVIEW:

LISW Therapist provides quality social services for clients with group, individual, and family therapy sessions, with a special emphasis on discharge planning needs.

  • Therapy sessions are on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
  • Someone who has experience and loves the geriatric community
  • Small team structure. The ability to thrive in working with a small, close knit team and a commitment to patient care.
  • Strengths in documentation
  • Works well with Physicians

EDUCATION: Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited Graduate School of Social Work.

LICENSURE: LISW required; must meet scope of service for State of practice.

CERTIFICATION: The Social Worker must meet any applicable State certification standards.

EXPERIENCE: Two to three years of clinical experience with older persons, and hospital or nursing home experience preferred with extensive group work experience.

JOB KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of community resources for older persons, knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and insurance requirements as these relate to continuing care. Familiarity with medical terminology and conditions as these impact discharge needs. Familiarity with medical team roles and with the functioning of other hospital departments. Knowledge of effective individual and group communication techniques.
