
Job Shadows & Observations Application
All applicants for job shadows and observations at Gundersen must review the policies and complete the appropriate forms (specified below) at least 30 days prior to your requested experience. This timeframe allows us to process your paperwork, contact the appropriate departments and mentors, and correspond efficiently to provide you with the best experience.
Eligibility
You can apply for a job shadow if you are at least 16 years old. Job shadows are limited to 1-5 experiences ranging from 2-8 hours per experience. Note: Job shadows for high school students are on hold until further notice.
You can apply for observation hours if you are at least 18 years old, currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution and have an educational requirement for your course, program, and/or application process. Observation hours are generally limited to 60.
Whether you are applying for a job shadow or an observation experience, the application process and forms are the same for both.
