How to apply

You’ll register on the National Matching Service and apply through the Pharmacy Residency Application System, PhORCAS. The application deadline is Jan. 4, 2024.

Eligibility

You must be eligible for pharmacist licensure in Wisconsin to apply for our Pharmacy Residency. Licensure must be obtained within 90 days of when the program begins.

Application materials

When you apply, include your: 

  • Curriculum vitae  
  • 3 letters of recommendation  
  • College of pharmacy transcripts  
  • Formal letter of application with statement of goals 
  • Current photograph (optional)

Interview

Our residency leaders and residents will meet virtually with top applicants in January and February. You'll interact with residency program directors, hospital pharmacy leadership, pharmacist faculty preceptors and our PGY1 residents. You'll also have the opportunity to virtually explore and learn more about Gundersen's environment and culture, as well as the La Crosse community.
