A message from our program director
On behalf of the faculty of the Department of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery at Gundersen Health System, thank you for your interest in our residency program.
At Gundersen, medical education isn’t what we do, it’s who we are. Our mission is simple: we are dedicated to exceptional education in a collaborative culture that fosters life-long learning and the development of compassionate healthcare professionals devoted to the communities they serve. As a proud graduate of this residency program and now the program director, I am committed to supporting this mission to ensure our podiatry residents are exceptionally well-rounded clinicians and surgeons when they graduate.
When you look at Gundersen and our residency program, I want you to know that we value you as a person, not just as a medical professional. We aim to provide a healthy learning environment where you can thrive in every aspect of your life, not just your medical training. By ensuring you are happy, healthy and succeeding in your goals, we all excel.
I appreciate you taking the time to explore the features of our program, curriculum, research and faculty, and look forward to meeting you.
Best,
Dr. Devin Simonson
