Taking care of you and your loved ones
Whether you’re turning to us for care or visiting a loved one, you’ll find amenities to make your visit comfortable. On our Whitehall Campus, visit the beautiful medical mall located on our main floor. There is a spacious lobby, free public Wi-Fi, a gift shop and delicious food in our Parkview Café overlooking Melby Park and the Whitehall baseball field.

Patient resources
Campus map and parking

Gundersen Tri-County Hospital and Clinics is located just one block off U.S. Highway 53, and two blocks from Wisconsin State Highway 121.
We provide ample parking for patients, their families and visitors around our buildings. We encourage you to park closest to the entrance in which your services are located.
We offer parking for patients who travel by horse and buggy (see map). We also have one EV charging station in our parking lot for electric vehicles.
Medical records
Gundersen Health System respects each patient's right to the confidentiality and privacy of their healthcare information. We make every attempt to protect the privacy of patient information so that such information is not heard, read or otherwise shared with others for any reason other than to promote the best healthcare outcomes for our patients.
To disclose protected health information, we require signed authorization from the patient or legal guardian. The healthcare record is the property of Gundersen and is maintained for the use of the hospital, clinic, medical staff and for the benefit of the patient. You may request copies of your health information at any time, with reasonable notice and payment of copying costs.

Patient & Family Services
Our Patient & Family Services staff works with patients and acts as an advocate as a member of the healthcare team.
We can assist you and your family with:
- Discharge planning
- Advance directives
- Accessing available resources
- Consultation in emotional, social, financial, family and health concerns

Volunteering
Put your talents to great use by helping the patients, staff and visitors of Gundersen Tri-County Hospital and Clinics. Here, you’re more than just a volunteer. You're one of us. You'll get the chance to meet new people, make new connections and join in our celebrations. Opportunities for you
Common volunteer duties include:
- Assisting with department tasks
- Escorting patients around the facility
- Providing support at community events
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be age 18 or older
- Have a positive and welcoming attitude
- Be discreet and dependable
- Volunteer at least four hours per week
- Pass a background check, health assessment and volunteer training program
