Severe illnesses and injuries can happen at any time. That’s why we deliver around-the-clock emergency care at our Level 4 trauma hospital in Friendship.
Our department is staffed by physicians, a physician assistant, nurses and paramedics who are trained to handle emergencies. Laboratory and radiology services are also available.
24/7 access to specialists for critically ill patients and newborns
Staff are certified in advanced cardiac life support. We also offer 24-hour access to specialists in neurology, telepsychiatry for mental health crisis and neonatal care through telemedicine services.
Our hospital is Wisconsin Coverdell Stroke Certified and has been recognized for giving patients the best possible chance of heart attack and stroke survival and recovery. We have also been recognized as a Pediatric Ready Facility by Wisconsin Emergency Medical Services for Children. Families can feel confident our staff are dedicated and equipped to provide children with excellent care.
When specialized care is needed, patients are stabilized and then transferred to a larger medical center.

Urgent Care is available in our emergency department at designated hours; expanded hours may be offered when holidays fall on a weekday.
Also known as walk-in care, urgent care services are intended for minor illnesses and injuries that need attention when your primary care clinic is closed.
