Our Foundation

St. Elizabeth's Community Development Foundation was established in 1983 for the sole purpose of supporting the programs and services of St. Elizabeth's.

Thanks to the generosity of businesses and community members like you, the Foundation continues to provide advanced medical technology, add new programs and services and expand and renovate facilities. Our partnership with our donors ensures our long-term sustainability as a trusted neighbor and healthcare provider.

All charitable contributions remain in our communities, are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible

Our Foundation exists to inspire donor support for the programs and services of Gundersen St. Elizabeth's Hospital and Clinics and ensure gifts are used effectively and responsibly to improve the health of the people and the communities we serve.

Ways to give

Many of us think of ways we can make a difference in someone's life. Supporting our Foundation is a great way to show you believe our community deserves the best healthcare possible. There are several ways for you to make a gift to the Foundation that will be cherished and valued throughout the years to come.

A gift to the Foundation is a lasting tribute. Whether honoring someone who has made a difference in your life or to celebrate the memory of a loved one, the most satisfying gift is the one that continues to give.

Gifts can be made by donating:

Donations may be mailed at any time to:

Remember or honor someone: Memorials provide lasting recognition of deceased friends and loved ones. Memorials can also be established so that others may donate.

Honor gifts are a way to celebrate life, recognize a special person or life event, or express good wishes. These gifts are wonderful ways to mark marriages, anniversaries, birthdays, or say thank you to volunteers, doctors, or nurses.

Annual appeal: The annual appeal mailing goes out in November and provides a strong base of revenue for project funding for the following year. Please contact us to make sure that you are on the mailing list.

Fundraising events: St. Elizabeth's Community Development Foundation enjoys hosting events that bring friends together to support a need or cause. Fundraising in the form of golf benefits, concerts and bazaars expand our donor family and our financial capacity.

St. Elizabeth's Auxiliary: St. Elizabeth's Auxiliary is a 100+ member nonprofit organization that supports the mission and services of Gundersen St. Elizabeth's Hospital and Clinics. Auxiliary members raise financial support, host events, gather for meetings and serve as volunteers and ambassadors for our organization.

Field of Dreams: They say money doesn't grow on trees, but we can confirm it grows in corn and soybean fields! Our Field of Dreams surrounds our medical campus and has become an iconic fundraising effort grown out of the generous hearts of area farmers. Each growing season, proceeds from each harvest are transplanted into programs and services to meet important healthcare needs of our communities.

The Foundation can also assist with planned giving: Planned gifts offer several benefits to the donor, including providing an ongoing income stream, easing your current tax liability, and reducing capital gains tax or future estate tax. Deferred gifts can support the Foundation without impact on your current income or lifestyle. Donors can designate the Foundation as a beneficiary of retirement plan assets or life insurance policies. Planned gifts also include gifts through your will, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, life estate contracts, charitable lead trusts, and pooled income funds. Please contact Tom Crowley at (651) 565-5559.

All donations are recognized and are used for the benefit of our patients, residents, tenants and staff.
