Are you living with chronic pain?

We all experience bouts of pain. That’s your body telling you something isn’t right. In many cases, when you know the cause – injury or exercise, for example – the pain fades when the injury heals.

Chronic pain is more complicated and less certain. The cause healed, but your body still registers pain for weeks, months or even years after your injury. It can impact your life and mental health.

Examples of chronic pain include:

  • Frequent headaches or migraines
  • Back pain
  • Neck pain
  • Nerve damage pain
  • Arthritis or joint pain
  • Muscle pain such as fibromyalgia pain

Gundersen can help you learn how to manage your pain through our Healthy Living with Chronic Pain workshop. We’ll meet online for six weeks to learn techniques that can help, including exercise, eating well, improved sleep strategies, medication, communication and more.
