Vanessa Trim, RN, NP

Vanessa Trim, RN, NP is now seeing patients at the Gundersen Tri-County Whitehall Clinic.

As a nurse practitioner, Trim provides primary care services for patients of all ages. "I look forward to providing patient-centered care by ensuring my patients feel well supported in their healthcare, through shared decision making with a holistic approach of caring for the whole person, not just the disease," comments Trim.

A native of Whitehall, Trim earned her Nursing degree from Viterbo University, La Crosse, Wis., and her master of science degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain College of Nursing, Downers Grove, Ill.

For the past five years, Trim has been a registered nurse in the Pediatric/ Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. "I knew I wanted to stay within Gundersen's system after I became a nurse practitioner because of the support and friendships I have created with our providers and their wiliness to help other staff," says Trim.

In her free time Trim loves spending time with her husband, Nicholas, and their two children, Evan and Hailey. She also enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, crafting, and spending time with their animals and to fish with Nicholas in bass tournaments.

To make an appointment with Trim, call Gundersen Tri-County Whitehall Clinic at (715) 538-4355.
