Physician assistant Angela House has joined the Family Medicine staff at the Gundersen Tri-County Independence Clinic.
House had been caring for patients on an interim basis for the past six months and has now joined Gundersen Tri-County Independence Clinic full time. She cares for patients of all ages offering well-child and well-woman exams, sports and general physicals, care for acute illnesses and ongoing care for chronic illnesses.
"I love working in the small community setting," says House. "I look forward to providing medical care to the generations of families in the Independence area."
A native of Winona, Minn., House earned her bachelor of science degree in Biology from Winona State University before completing her physician assistant studies at Augsburg College in Minneapolis.
House is no stranger to Gundersen Health System. She cared for patients at Gundersen's Spring Grove, Minn. Clinic from 2001 – 2012.
When not working, House enjoys spending time with her daughter. She also takes time for baking, cake decorating, crafting, reading, traveling, boating, working on DIY projects.
With the addition of House, the clinic will now be open 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. four days a week, continuing to be closed on Tuesdays.
