Gundersen Tri-County named to Top 20 Critical Access Hospital list

Gundersen Tri-County Hospital and Clinics is one of the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) for patient satisfaction in the United States.

The Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals, including Gundersen Tri-County, scored best among CAHs as determined by The Chartis Center for Rural Health. The rankings were recently announced by the National Rural Health Association (NRHA). An awards ceremony will be held during NRHA's Critical Access Hospital Conference in September in Kansas City, Mo.

"Gundersen Tri-County staff recognize that patient perception is so important and a huge part of the care we provide," says Joni Olson, chief executive officer, Gundersen Tri-County. "They deserve this recognition and work very hard towards patient satisfaction in every patient interaction."

Gundersen Tri-County was recognized based on its percentile rank across the five categories of Hospital Compare Process of Care measures.
