Scholarships support healthcare's next generation

 

Is someone close to you studying or training for a career in healthcare? Gundersen Tri-County Hospital and Clinics Foundation would like to support their studies with one of three scholarships.

To download an application with more scholarship information and for the required photo consent form, visit gundersenhealth.org/tri-county/foundation. Each scholarship is open to Gundersen Tri-County Hospital and Clinics employees.

The deadline to apply for each scholarship is April 20.

Community Investment Healthcare Scholarships

The $1,000 Community Investment Healthcare Scholarship honors one graduating senior or community member going to school for healthcare training from each of these school districts: Blair, Independence and Whitehall.

Lisa Rostvold Memorial Nursing Scholarship

The Lisa Rostvold Memorial Nursing Scholarship honors the 2000 Blair-Taylor High School graduate, who was pursuing a Licensed Practical Nurse certification when she died in 2003.

The scholarship awards $1,200 to one eligible community member returning to school for post-secondary nursing training or one student from one of the following school districts: Blair-Taylor, Eleva-Strum, Independence and Whitehall.

Ginger Everson Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship honors Virginia "Ginger" Everson, a Whitehall High School student who died in a 1973 car accident. Ginger had been accepted into the Nursing program at what was then Viterbo College in La Crosse.

The scholarship awards $1,000 to a recipient enrolled in a four-year program or $500 to a recipient enrolled in a two-year program.
