Visitor policy modified at Gundersen Behavioral Health

Adult and pediatric patients allowed two support persons

Effective Friday, April 2, adult inpatient Behavioral Health patients may have up to two support persons over the age of 16 every 24 hours. Pediatric inpatient Behavioral Health patients may have up to two parents or guardians every 24 hours.

Visits are limited to 30 minutes during visiting hours and must be scheduled in advance by calling (608) 775-3523. Support person(s) are important partners to our care teams and can help balance patients' physical and emotional needs.

Support persons will be screened and must continue to wear a mask when entering any Gundersen location.

Generally, Gundersen allows two visitors at its Hospital and Clinic in La Crosse. Gundersen's updated visitor policy is always available at gundersenhealth.org.
