COVID-19 vaccine update for the week of Feb. 1

Gundersen Health System will vaccinate more than 4,000 people this week across our system. Still, the doses received are just a fraction of what is needed to vaccinate those invited to receive the lifesaving shot.

A limited number of vaccine appointments are available between Wednesday, Feb. 3 and Tuesday, Feb. 9 at the Gundersen vaccination site in Onalaska to patients who have received an appointment invitation through MyChart or by mailed letter.

This week, Gundersen will begin to contact patients who called after receiving a letter from us inviting them to call to schedule an appointment.

Gundersen is also releasing a limited number of vaccine appointments in MyChart for our Onalaska location. If you have already received a vaccine appointment invitation through MyChart, please log-in to view available appointments and schedule yours at a time convenient for you.

Please be patient as we await a new supply each week. We will continue working with our community partners to make sure everyone who wants the vaccine receives it.

While you wait, you can:

Sign up for MyChart
When it's time for them to schedule a vaccine appointment, patients will get a MyChart message and be able to schedule conveniently in MyChart.

Watch the mail
If patients don't have a MyChart account, we will send a letter by mail with instructions for scheduling an appointment.

Stay up-to-date
Check gundersenhealth.org, our social media channels and local media for regular COVID-19 vaccine updates.
