All adults now eligible for COVID-19 vaccine boosters at Gundersen
Friday, November 19, 2021

All adults, regardless of health conditions, occupation or other qualifiers, are now eligible for the Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson (J&J) COVID-19 vaccine boosters. Gundersen Health System welcomes patients and non-patients to its facilities for the booster shot beginning Monday, Nov. 22

Those who already received the COVID-19 vaccine at Gundersen can safely receive their booster from a different manufacturer, based on guidance from federal health experts. Those who received initial vaccine doses at a non-Gundersen location must show proof of vaccination before a booster at Gundersen.

WHO: Gundersen will provide Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccine boosters to all adults at least 6 months after their second dose. J&J COVID-19 vaccine boosters are available to all adults at least two months after they received a single dose of the J&J vaccine.

COVID-19 CLINICS ARE OPEN:

  • 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday at Gundersen Onalaska Clinic (Level 4) and Gundersen La Crosse Clinic (Level 1 near the healing garden). Starting Monday, Nov. 29, vaccination clinic hours change from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • The clinics are closed on Thanksgiving but will be open Friday, Nov. 26.

Moderna, J&J and Pfizer vaccines are available at other Gundersen COVID-19 vaccination locations.
