Virtual perinatal classes available

In March we cancelled all of our in-person perinatal education classes indefinitely. This decision was made in order to protect our patients, and direct all resources towards the COVID-19 response. However, we recognize that perinatal education plays a vital role in any empowered pregnancy and birth journey. As such, we have been working to develop an option for patients who are seeking perinatal education from a credible source while staying Safer at Home.

We are pleased to announce that we will be offering live streaming of several of our classes.

Labor, Breastfeeding, and Newborn Care class

This condensed version of our all-day class will cover the basics of labor and delivery, breastfeeding, and newborn care. There will also be time for questions and answers with the instructor.

Who should sign up:
This class is available to pregnant patients and their support partners who are 25 weeks or further into their pregnancies. Patients should sign up online for our Virtual Labor, Breastfeeding and Newborn Care.

Register now

How this will work:
Patients should register for the class that works best for them. Once registration is received and processed, patients will receive a confirmation email with a link to a Webex class. We ask that patients use this link to log into the class 10-15 minutes prior to the start time, and be ready for the class to start at the time indicated.

These live stream classes are a temporary means to support our parents during these uncertain times. Our team continues to work on a range of long-term solutions, and will post any additional offerings as they become available. Please contact the New Life Perinatal Department with any questions or concerns at (608) 775-6878.
