Gundersen Eye Clinics resume care after temporary COVID-19 closure

Following a temporary closure in April due to COVID-19 to ensure patient health and safety, Gundersen Health System Eye Clinics will resume services, initially with a limited appointment schedule.

Patients will be contacted regarding their appointments. Anyone who needs information or has questions should call (608) 782-7300 or (toll free) (800) 362-9567.

*Gundersen Eye Clinics in La Crosse, Tomah, Winona, Decorah and Viroqua have remained open for patient care.

Eye Clinics opening the week of May 11 

Wisconsin 

  • Onalaska (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) (*May 26: Thursday hours will change to 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.)
  • Prairie du Chien (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
  • Richland Center (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
  • Sparta (temporary hours: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
  • Whitehall (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

Eye Clinics opening the week of May 18 

Wisconsin 

  • Black River Falls (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
  • Friendship (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
  • Hillsboro (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; closed noon to 1 p.m.)

Minnesota 

  • Winona (new location - 1122 W. Hwy. 61) (temporary hours: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) (*May 26: Thursday hours will change to 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.)

Iowa 

  • Waukon (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) 


*Eye Clinic services and hours of operations may change as Gundersen continues to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic.
