Gundersen Health System is excited to announce it has signed an agreement to purchase Team Rehab, a private physical therapy practice with locations in Decorah and Cresco.

For more than 20 years, Team Rehab has been a well-respected local business and has been a primary referral location in the Decorah area for patients in need of physical therapy services.

"We have had an outstanding relationship with Team Rehab for a number of years," says Scott Kniprath, Gundersen's regional executive director. "We look forward to building upon the foundation they have set for providing great care close to home."

"Team Rehab and Gundersen approach patient care in the same way: listen to the needs and concerns of the patient and provide them with the best possible experience," says Steve Krieg, co-owner and therapist, Team Rehab. "We are excited to become part of the Gundersen family and continue our exceptional care for those we serve."

When the purchase is finalized in late March, all Team Rehab employees will become Gundersen employees, and both locations will be maintained with existing staff. Gundersen and non-Gundersen patients alike can continue to receive care from the people they know and trust in the same locations.
