New patient experience surveys add convenience

Gundersen Health System patients are now able to provide feedback on the care they receive with more convenience than ever before.

Post-appointment patient experience surveys from Gundersen are now distributed by email, text message or phone, in addition to paper surveys.

The patient experience survey process, previously only conducted by paper surveys mailed to patients following an appointment:

• Empowers patients by using the technology they use and provide improved convenience.
• Reduces the number of survey questions from 40 to 10.
• Allows Gundersen to more rapidly improve using patient feedback.

Gundersen uses patient experience surveys to share feedback with clinicians to improve patient care and provide survey comments and clinician ratings online to help patients make informed choices about their healthcare.

For more information on this process, visit gundersenhealth.org/find-a-doctor/guide-to-ratings.
