Physician assistant Jen Sorenson, PA-C, has joined the staff at the Gundersen Galesville Clinic. She will offer a full range of primary care services to patients of all ages including women's health, well-child care, acute injury and illness care and care for chronic conditions.
Having grown up just outside Galesville, Sorenson feels honored to be able to care for people in the community in which she grew up. "I have always thought highly of Gundersen. Recently my father was hospitalized at Gundersen and received excellent care," Sorenson explains. "As I looked at my own practice options, I realized that I wanted to be part of a system that provides compassionate, high quality care and is closely involved with the communities it serves. Gundersen provides all that and more and seemed like a good fit for me."
Sorenson received her bachelor of science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to joining Gundersen, she was administrative director of Student Health Service at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
When not at work, Sorenson says she loves to be active and enjoy the outdoors which is one of the reasons she is excited to be back in the Coulee Region. The mother of three sons loves to spend time with her family and friends and tries to find time for hiking, camping, kayaking, cycling and gardening.
