Gundersen Holmen Clinic welcomes nurse practitioner

The Gundersen Holmen Clinic welcomes nurse practitioner, Kristin Ferguson, NP, as its newest addition to the staff of caring medical professionals. She cares for people of all ages and for the full range of family medicine needs.

"Patient care has been a part of my life for more than 13 years as a bedside nurse, so I'm looking forward to taking it to the next level," says Ferguson. "I'm looking forward to caring for patients like they are my own family. I also look forward to working alongside two other wonderful providers so that we can cover the needs of our community."

Ferguson is originally from a small Mississippi town, but having lived in Wisconsin for five years is getting used to the weather. "Now we are a part of the Holmen community and looking forward to seeing what life brings us," she says.

She and her husband have three children. She enjoys creativity, arts and crafts, getting outside, swimming and biking among other things.

Ferguson's family medicine practice includes women's health. "Women require specialized care in different phases of life so I want to be a part of providing that care," she says.

She joins Charles Clark, MD, and Maryanne Clark, NP, in practice at Gundersen Holmen Clinic. To schedule an appointment, call (608) 399-3091.

"I feel it is important for patients to be involved in their care," adds Ferguson.
