Gundersen to have presence in Belle Square

Gundersen Health System will soon be part of a landmark new building in downtown La Crosse.

Gundersen is leasing office space at Belle Square, the Weber Group's new mixed-use development between 3rd, 4th, State and Vine Streets, for approximately 90 employees in Human Resources, Legal and related departments.

The new Gundersen downtown offices, part of Belle Square's 110,000 square foot office building, will allow better access to employee and business partner services, include consult rooms for candidate interviews, benefits conversations and other services not possible in the current space, and offer more flexibility for space on Gundersen's La Crosse Campus.

"The new location in Belle Square will provide a better experience for our employees, prospective employees and community partners," says Mark Platt, senior vice president, Gundersen Health System. "It's centrally-located in vibrant downtown La Crosse, a short distance from our main campus and other locations, and shows our commitment to remaining a leader in community care and business."

Gundersen employees will likely move into Belle Square this fall.

In addition to this new location downtown, Gundersen has convenient locations within walking and biking distance or a short drive of the main campus on South Avenue: Cass Street Pharmacy Gundersen Health System; the La Crosse Area Family YMCA/Gundersen Healthy Living Center; Gundersen ExpressCare in the Village Shopping Center; and Degen Berglund locations in the Village Shopping Center and on Mormon Coulee Road.
