Personalized, world-class care for a variety of women's health needs is now just a short drive away at Gundersen Moundview Hospital and Clinics.

"Patients often complain of urinary issues that have gone unaddressed for years or they found it extremely difficult to get to La Crosse or Onalaska for evaluation. Providing this specialty care close to home will make a big difference for patients," says obstetrician/gynecologist Robert Holness, MD.

Dr. Holness, who practices out of the Gundersen Tomah Clinic and brings 15 years of clinical experience, sees patients for gynecology and prenatal care needs, such as:

  • Abnormal bleeding
  • Pelvic pain
  • Uterine fibroids
  • Endometriosis
  • Uterine prolapse
  • Contraception, including permanent options
  • Office procedures such as colposcopy
  • Surgical care
  • And much more

Bringing expert care close to home for residents in rural communities is one of the reasons Dr. Holness decided to practice medicine.

"Women need easy access to essential services, such as gynecology and obstetrics," Dr. Holness says. "It's why I chose this field of practice, and it's why I look forward to caring for patients in Adams-Friendship."
