Case Based Learning (CBL) is Tuesday afternoon starting at 1 pm, unless otherwise noted on your schedule. Complete your weekly pre-CBL requirements on Canvas! Your required continuity clinic - 1/2 day a week in a specialty, or WARM, 1 day every other week - is also on your schedule.

Mother/Child Dyad Week during OB/Gyn
During your 12-week CALC block, you will have one week devoted to exploring the maternal-child dyad of labor, delivery and postpartum care. It will be an opportunity to follow a mother-child pairing through the entire process and have a unique view at what goes on behind the scenes and not just the physician/patient interface. Your point of entry at the beginning of the week will be the on-call Labor and Delivery obstetrician.
You will present on your Exploration Project in either week 6 or week 12 to your peers - depending on if you had OB/Gyn during the first six or last six weeks of the rotation.

If you are starting OB/Gyn in the last 6 weeks of CALC, review information on Orientation site and watch the videos posted there.

- OB/Gyn Clinic is on the 3rd Floor of the Main Clinic
Ultrasound Clinic is located on 3rd Floor Main Clinic, check in at front desk - Get your scrubs from the student scrub machine on 2nd Floor Heritage, even when you are on L&D
- OB/Gyn OR is located in the general OR on the 2nd floor of the Heritage Building

Things to know
- If the provider you are scheduled to be with isn't available, the department will need to place you with someone else
- When you are on call, you will be on from 5 to 11 pm during the week. Weekend call hours are 8 am - 11 pm
- Clinic start time is 8 am unless your provider tells you otherwise
- NICU: arrive at 7:30 am in scrubs, 5th Floor Legacy
- Hem/Onc: arrive at 8 am, 2nd Floor East Building
- Peds Specialties are located on 3rd Floor Heritage
