Thanks to the generosity of people like you, Moundview Memorial Healthcare Foundation is able to provide funding for equipment and programs that improve local healthcare for our community.
Donations to the Foundation can be made through a gift today or planned for the future. Gifts are tax deductible and can be made by donating cash, check, credit card, stocks, bonds or property.
Memorials and honorariums are gifts that pay tribute to a special person in your life. Your gift provides both you and the recognized individual (or bereaved family) the satisfaction of having made a lasting contribution to local healthcare. In response to your gift, an acknowledgement letter is sent to you and to the honored individual or family.
The Tree of Life is located in the front lobby of Gundersen Moundview Hospital and Clinics. Donors may purchase an engraved leaf, acorn or stone as a visual representation of a memorial, tribute or gift to Moundview Memorial Healthcare Foundation. Learn more.
Some individuals wish to make an annual, tax deductible contribution to the Foundation. Donations can be made by cash, check or credit card.
Contributions to the endowment are invested for long-term growth. Once the Foundation’s endowment has reached one million dollars, only the interest and dividends from the investments will be used to fund capital projects and equipment. The principle will remain invested as a perpetual fund to provide benefit for years to come. All Tree of Life donations, undesignated donations and 10% of the net earnings from Foundation fundraising events are placed into this fund.
Planned gifts enable you to support the Foundation without impacting your current income or lifestyle. Some examples include designating the Foundation as a beneficiary of retirement plan assets, a life insurance policy or making a bequest through your will. A bequest may be a specific amount or asset, percentage of your estate or a gift from the residue of your estate after providing for your benefactors. Please contact your financial advisor to determine the best way to match the needs of your family and make a contribution. If you choose to leave a future gift to the Foundation, please notify us. We would appreciate an opportunity to personally express our gratitude.
The Foundation holds annual fundraisers which raise significant funds for the Foundation. Individuals and businesses may contribute to the events through designated sponsorship levels, cash or new item contributions and/or participation in the events. Foundation events include the Dinner and Auction, Golf Benefit and Sip, Savor & Support-Brew Fest.
