Our mission

Founded in 1990, our mission is to make a difference in our patients’ lives by providing philanthropic support to our hospital and clinics. As a foundation donor, you're a part of something bigger. You make a difference in the lives of our organization, our community and the people we care about. Donate today and make a difference.

Mental health support

We believe we can build a healthier tomorrow together. As the number of mental health-related emergency visits increase, so does the need to increase support for patients experiencing psychiatric emergencies like anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts or attempts. With your help, we hope to bring needed mental health support to our community with 24/7 on-demand telepsychiatry services in our Emergency department.

Where to give

You can designate your gift to an impact area or where it matters most to you.

Area of Greatest Need Fund

We’ll use your generous gift where it’s needed most. From cutting-edge technology to facility upgrades, staff training and patient support initiatives, this fund gives you the flexibility to improve almost every aspect of our organization.

Endowment Fund

Our Endowment Fund will provide financial support for future generations, but we need your help to reach our $1 million goal. Once we reach this milestone, we will use a portion of the interest earned on the principal to fund our annual needs.

Equipment Fund

Your contribution to this fund will help keep our hospital equipped with state-of-the-art technology and equipment to deliver the best possible care to our patients in the community.

Movin’ & More Voucher Program Fund

This fund provides new enrollees with a free month of access to our Movin' and More program. It removes the financial obstacle of joining and provides a supportive environment for those with chronic health issues, like heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure and cholesterol, so they can take better care of themselves.

Scholarship Fund

This fund provides annual scholarships to staff, their partners and children who are working toward a nursing degree.

Community Wellness Fund

By supporting this fund, you're giving back to activities and programs that help our friends, families and neighbors stay healthy and happy. This could mean helping with community classes, school programs and working to reduce health inequalities.

Nursing Education

This fund helps new nurses acclimate to a career in rural healthcare by providing an annual scholarship to attend the Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative’s Nurse Residency Program.

Employees Helping Employees Fund

This fund helps our staff experiencing a difficult or unexpected situation by covering necessities like housing, utilities or transportation costs.

From our director

It is with great pride and passion that I serve as the Director of the Boscobel Area Hospital and Clinics Foundation.

Natalie Tollefson portrait

As a Fennimore native, I grew up on a small dairy farm where I learned the importance of hard work, integrity and taking care of others. Today, I have the pleasure of applying these values to a higher calling which centers around sustaining the rich history of Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital and Clinics, while helping to advance its future through the power of philanthropy.

As the philanthropic arm of the organization, the Foundation exists to financially support the Hospital’s mission of relentless caring, learning and innovation. All gifts to the Hospital through the Boscobel Area Hospital and Clinics Foundation sustain and enhance these priorities.

Your gifts have supported major renovations and cutting-edge technology, helped jump-start new services and community wellness programs, removed barriers to patient care, and secured the Foundation’s future impact through our Endowment Fund. These are true testaments to how donations save lives and how every dollar that we receive is handled with great care!

We are forever grateful to receive donations as an investment in the future of our hospital. To be a part of our story through a donation or to share your story of gratitude, please reach out.

Together we will make a difference!
