Laser resurfacing can be used to effectively treat a wide variety of skin conditions-wrinkles, brown spots, fine lines and blemishes-that can make you look older than you feel. Using laser resurfacing we can safely and precisely remove old, damaged skin, and promotes new cell growth and collagen production for smoother, healthier more youthful looking skin.

While smoothing and tightening skin, laser resurfacing can improve the appearance of:

  • Brown spots and uneven skin color
  • Sun damaged skin
  • Wrinkles and fine lines
  • Scars and blemishes

At Gundersen, we offer a full range of laser resurfacing treatments including micro-laser peels, laser resurfacing and factional laser treatments by our expert cosmetic services team.

With micro-laser peels and laser resurfacing, the entire surface area of the skin is treated. A laser is scanned across the treatment area removing a layer of skin. Your body naturally replaces the old, damaged skin that was removed, with new healthier skin. Treatments can range from shallow (for treating fine lines, sun spots and tired complexion) to deep (used to improve skin tone and texture and minimize deep wrinkles and scars).

Using fractional resurfacing, the high-intensity laser creates deep, but very fine, channels into the skin triggering formation of new collagen and elastin as part of the skin's natural healing process. The healing skin quickly knits with the surrounding skin tissue resulting in a healthier, smoother, more youthful look.
