Join Syed in saying, 'iGive'

Syed Rahman's job as an RN and clinical documentation improvement specialist is to look for, and make, improvements. So, when he was grieving and trying to deal with his father's death, Syed naturally found a way that would also improve the lives of people around him.

"I received a note from Dr. Sig Gundersen about a memorial for my father and I was moved by the gesture. It helped with my grieving and made me take a closer look at Gundersen Medical Foundation. I was impressed and proud with the work they were doing," says Syed.

Syed chose to make a gift to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals®, a service of the Foundation.

"I have a son. He inspires me to help other children anyway I can. I'm not rich, I don't have a lot to give, but I do my small part and give from my heart. And whenever I can, I volunteer my time, especially with youth programs in my neighborhood," explains Syed who lives in the Powell-Poage-Hamilton neighborhood near Gundersen's La Crosse Campus.

If you're inspired by Syed's generosity, please consider joining him in supporting the Foundation. This year's iGive Employee Giving campaign is about half over and they need your help to reach this year's goal of 25 percent employee participation.

It's easy to do. Simply go to gundersenhealth.org/igive and fuel your passion with a gift to a fund that aligns with your interests, like Syed's gift to CMN Hospitals. You can make your donation or Gundersen employees can set up a recurring gift through payroll deduction.
