Anyone who has worked at Gundersen Health System for more than a few years has been witness to history in the making. There's been the opening of the new hospital, new partnerships, new clinics, advances in medical technology, new procedures and more. But with 125 years of history, few people have had access to the full scope of the history behind the evolution of Gundersen Health System. Until now.

Gundersen Health System and Gundersen Medical Foundation are proud to introduce a new handsome, preservation-quality two-book boxed set spanning its 125 year history. The set includes Medicine: The Gundersen Experience 1891-1991 and Transforming Medicine: The Gundersen Experience II 1991-2016. Both books are packed with archival photos, ground-breaking news of the day, personal narratives, history makers, remembrances and so much more.

Delve into the history of Gundersen Clinic and Lutheran Hospital, and learn how a once-small medical practice has grown and innovated to become a national leader in healthcare, medical education and research, environmental sustainability and end-of-life care.

The two-book set in a protective sleeve is available for purchase for $55 (includes tax) at the Foundation offices, Level 3, La Crosse Clinic or $70 (includes tax, shipping and handling) online.
