High school educational opportunities

Scenic Rivers Area Health Education Center (SRAHEC), the Health Science Academy (HSA) and students from other schools within our region spend time in the ICE House. While visiting, high school students can participate in various simulation exercises, such as laparoscopic skills exercises, airway/intubation procedures and learn more about human patient simulators through hands-on exercises.

High school job shadows

For high school students who are not a member of a Gundersen-approved healthcare group such as the Health Science Academy, Scenic Rivers Area Health Education Center or Northeast Iowa Career Learning Link, we are happy to offer one job shadow per student in grades 10-12 (16 years or older).
