Scheduled Weekly Hours:
0Gundersen Health System is looking for a Nutrition Technician to become a part of our Nutrition Therapy Team.
This role is an excellent fit for college students, as we offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your classes and commitments!
Role Overview: As a Nutrition Technician, you will serve as the primary customer service contact for patient meal ordering within the hospital. You will collaborate closely with Registered Dietitians and other healthcare team members. Proficiency with computer programs, technology, and the ability to quickly learn new software are key to thriving in this position.
Position Details:
- Casual Call status
- 8-hour shifts every other weekend plus holiday rotation after training
- Shift times may vary and include options such as 5:45 AM–2:15 PM, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 10:30 AM–7:00 PM, or 3:00 PM–7:00 PM
- Onsite work at Gundersen Clinic in La Crosse
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a healthcare-related field or completion of a Certified Dietary Manager Program within 18 months of hire
- Experience with EPIC or Outlook preferred
