Scheduled Weekly Hours:
36We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Tech to join our Team! This is a full-time position offering day shifts!
What you will do:
- Fulltime, 72 hours biweekly (0.9 FTE)
- This position has the flexibility to be 9 or 12-hour shifts, however during orientation you will be scheduled for 9-hour shifts
- 9-hour shift: primarily day shifts (6:15am-3:45pm) with some PM and nights shifts, could be up to 6 off shifts within a 6-week scheduling period. Occasional weekend shifts as needed per unit need (cover PTO, FML, or vacations)
- 12-hour shift: primarily day shifts (6:15am-6:45pm) with occasional night or weekend shifts as needed per unit need (cover PTO, FML, or vacations)
- Night and Weekend call rotation. Call response time is 60 minutes or less
- Holiday Rotation: 1-2 holidays per year
- Assists physician as scrub person according to prescribed standards. Assist RN in performing circulating duties as directed
- Performs primarily in the scrub role preparing, selecting maintaining equipment, instruments, and supplies.
What you need:
- Graduate from an accredited surgical tech program
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification within 2 years of hire date
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
