National Doctors’ Day is celebrated each March 30. Doctors work side-by-side with nurse practitioners, physician assistants and countless others who are equally dedicated to ensuring patients and communities have high quality healthcare, close to home.
To honor the 550 physicians serving throughout Gundersen Health System, and celebrate the remarkable impact of each, Gundersen donated to 38 food pantries across the Tri-State region, totally $21,000. Locally, Colleen McCurry, MD, was honored to present a $500 donation to Kim Boughton of the Northern Grant County Food Pantry on behalf of the physicians who proudly call Gundersen Boscobel home.
