Dick Beinborn, CRNA

Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital and Clinics recently honored Dick Beinborn as he celebrated 40 years as a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA).

"Dick is a pillar in our surgery department – a face people are both familiar and comfortable with," Gundersen Boscobel Chief Executive Officer David Hartberg said. "We are grateful for his many years of dedicated service and his commitment to the health of our surrounding communities."

CRNAs are specialists in the field of anesthesia and within the nursing profession. They are responsible for providing necessary anesthetics to patients during medical procedures, including surgery. Dick believes he has been involved in more than 30,000 cases in his career.

"Dick is a key member of our surgery team. His leadership is unparalleled, and it's hard to comprehend the contributions he has made in his career thus far," Brenda Kreul, Director of Surgery, said.
