Program Eligibility & Requirements
To ensure the safety of our patients and employees as a condition of employment, clinical privileges or program participation, Gundersen Health System (GHS) requires all staff to be fully vaccinated as defined by Employee Health Services for COVID-19 regardless of work location. In addition, all non-employee personnel, volunteers, residents, fellows, trainees, clinical and non-clinical contracted staff, students, researchers, temporary workers, contractors, and vendors, at any worksite or remote location, regardless of clinical responsibility or patient contact, are required to comply.
Applications are only accepted through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS). H1B and J1 visas are accepted.
An ECFMG certificate must accompany the ERAS application.
A complete ERAS application includes:
- A personal statement
- Four letters of support (generally to include letters from the office of the dean of the college of medicine from which you graduated, as well as from the program director and/or department head from your internal medicine residency program)
- Copies of your transcripts for USMLE; Steps 1, 2, and 3 must accompany application
The deadline for applications is Aug. 14, 2022.
For the 2022-23, application cycle all interviews will be virtual.
