Recovering from an illness or injury can be a long, frustrating process. Physical and Occupational Therapy
Our physical therapy experts evaluate and treat injury or disease in the musculoskeletal system. We aim to help patients experience decreased pain and return to their maximal level of function through exercise, posture instruction, body mechanics training, joint and soft tissue mobilization as well as use of pain-relieving modalities such as ultrasound and iontophoresis.
Our occupational therapy experts evaluate and treat those with impairments that limit their activities of daily living. We will work with you to increase your independence by developing or relearning skills related to your daily routines. You and your family are active participants in the treatment process and are included in establishing goals for your therapy.
Abnormal speech and language, as well as impaired cognitive and swallowing function, can be a symptom of disease, illness, developmental delay or structural defect. Our professional speech-language pathologists are trained to determine the cause and develop a personalized treatment strategy to care for patients with communication, cognitive or swallowing problems.
Our inpatient rehabilitative services will challenge you to restore function and quality of life after suffering from a disabling condition such as stroke, brain injury or surgery. While staying in our rehabilitation unit, you will focus on regaining function so you can be as independent as possible.
