The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Gundersen Health System offers an excellent combined fellowship program in Hematology and Medical Oncology. On completion of the three year training program, candidates will be board-eligible in both sub-specialties. Our program prides itself on being able to deliver personalized training to each fellow depending on their individual career goals.  While we expect our fellows to have a strong interest in clinical practice, we also have excellent clinical and basic research programs.  Our center is a member of the NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP), which provides infrastructure for participation in multi-site clinical trials.

Our fellowship program has a well-established relationship with the University of Wisconsin (UW) School of Medicine and Public Health. Fellows in Hematology/Oncology at Gundersen will have the required one month of transplantation experience at UW in their second year.
