The purpose of this conference is to provide attendees with tools to improve patient safety, quality, and practice performance regarding infants with NAS.

Registration is closed.

The registration deadline is Friday, January 26, 2018. Registrations will not be accepted after this date. Advance registration is required. Registration fees include light breakfast, lunch and certificate. An email will be sent the week of the conference to registered participants with parking information and other details about the conference.

Intended Audience: The target audience of this symposium is nurses, case managers, residents, physician assistants, social workers, community outreach, and nurse practitioners in the areas of Pediatrics, Behavioral Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Ob/Gyn, and Family Medicine who provide care for babies with the potential of developing Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS). The purpose of this activity is to provide attendees with tools to improve patient safety, quality, and practice performance regarding infants with NAS.

Accreditation: Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center Inc. is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Wisconsin Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This program will award up to 6.0 nursing contact hours upon completion.

Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center Inc., provider #1089, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), www.aswb.org, through the approved Continuing Education (ACE) Program. Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center Inc. maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB Approval Period: 11/14/2015-11/14/2018. Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval for continuing education credits.

Certificates: Certificates will be emailed to attendees within four weeks of completion of the on-line evaluation.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be requested via email or phone prior to January 26, 2018. A refund minus a $25 administration fee will be issued. No refunds will be made after January 26, 2018.

If the 2018 Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome conference is postponed or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of registration fees will be provided. Gundersen Medical Foundation Inc. will not be responsible for any related travel costs to the conference.
