Family LEAP Program

Information

Designed for children ages 7-16 and their families, Family LEAP (Learn, Eat, Active, Play) combines nutrition education and physical activity with wellness and goal-setting. To learn more, contact your child's primary care provider or call us to request information by phone. 

Each session includes:

• Nutrition education with interactive cooking demonstrations 
• Behavioral health education, goal setting and guidance 
• Fun physical activities that incorporate exercise & goal setting

Families, please understand that an adult support person must be present with each participant every week and will participate in the entire session including the exercise portion. Families must commit to attending at least 10 of the 12 sessions.

Schedule

Sessions take place each Thursday night at 5:30pm in the Healthy Living Center in La Crosse.

Next program dates

• September 12 through December 12
• Class will not take place on Halloween or Thanksgiving, dates will skip October 31 and November 28
