Some of the waiting time was way too long. I thought they maybe forgot about me, but other than that, it was a good experience. And I would recommend Gunderson and Dr. Thompson. Thank you.

Winona clinic is awesome. KMart to clinic Wow. The glass hanging decorative pieces were breathtaking. I was in optometry only but seemed like an efficient well planned clinic.

Dr. Thompson seems to really care about the problems I have with my eyes. He tries to find ways to help my eyesight improve.

I had a great appt and Dr. Thompson and the staff were friendly and quite thorough. My only negative observation is that the cost of your eyewear is totally over the top. ( i.e. just the frames alone were $200 to $225 apiece) At Costco and other outlets you can get a complete pair of glasses, which includes transition, bifocals, etc. for far less than $200. I like your products, I just don't care for the extreme mark-ups!! Sorry, but that's the truth! I'm willing to bet you would sell more glasses if you made them more affordable, and still make a modest profit. You basically force a good share of your patients to have to shop around when in actuality they would appreciate a 'one stop shop'! Just saying...

Dr. Thompson always take time to listen to your concerns and answers all your questions and tell you what to do if you need more help.

It was nice to be able to have an eye exam without drops since I opted for the camera at $39. However, it would be nice to offer this to everyone, even those who cannot afford it, as part of the medical experience. Dr. Thompson was excellent. He gave me details and pertinent information regarding eye health. He was also friendly and easy to talk with.

Dr. Thompson and his staff are very professional and answer all questions and concerns. There is a history of glaucoma in my family and being able to trust my provider is very important to me.

The new machine that images the inside of the eye without needing to dilate the eyes is very cool and made the appointment so much quicker. I like that they are up to date with new technologies.

Dr.Thompson has a very friendly way of doing your check up. He makes you feel right at home. Because he has this gift , it makes it easy to ask any questions you might have. Rate him excellent!

The only additional thing I would say is I have confusion as to my insurance if he is covered or not. When I made the appointment, it looked like he wasn't, so I had to pay early. The day before the appt I looked, and it said he was a preferred provider.

This was my 2nd visit with Dr. Thompson and both times he was wonderful. I will continue to schedule my follow-up appointments with Dr. Thompson!

I was very impressed with the doctor. He was very explicit with things. My husband was in the room with me, and he asked questions and got the answers we were hoping to hear. We just felt that he was very thorough with his involvement with me as far as learning my background and so on. I'd say I'd give him an A-plus in many ways. Thank you very much.

I love how Dr Thompson also recalls important family information in addition to medical information. He is very kind and caring. The technician who did my field test, pressure check, etc, was equally kind.

Staff that checked me in marked me as a no show. Therefore, I waited for over 1/2 hr and finally asked staff at the eye clinic why my wait was so long. Staff at the eye clinic was able to accommodate me immediately. I was grateful. However, registration staff refused to acknowledge her error and was rude to me.

Your Opticians are awesome. So knowledgeable, patient, , efficient. The day I was there I observed a very busy day! One employee was assisting a lady with above average needs. Your Opticians handled her with poise, patients , professionalism. The customer was resistant to spending $ for progressive lenses in sunglasses. The Optician gave great explanations , real life examples of when she would benefit from the progressives. Finally the customer understood the driving , trying to see the dash clearly explanation. I wish I had gotten the name of the Optician. Both ladies did amazing moving us customers through. They were your shinning stars of the day! Thank you

I'm not sure why I was ended up being sent to the doctor I was sent to because I knew I had problems deeper than what he could...help me with other than referrals. And I told him what the situation was, but he still, they still insisted that I go to him because of your policy or whatever. And all it does is run up the bill, run up the bill for me. I needed to go right away to and eye doctor,not just someone that checks my vision.

I sat in exam room for 50minutes before the provider came in. Not his fault, he had other emergency,but someone needed to let me know. Also patient schedules are perhaps to close together, no room for emergent issues.
